I am taking 2 Advil every 24 hours for the pain. Mostly this is just an ache – so most of the time it just feels like the old knee. I hope the ache (and occasionally pain) is gone sometime over the next few weeks but perhaps not. The Range of Motion (RoM) exercises definitely cause some of it and that may go on for much longer.
Using a cane for longer walks but the cane can probably ‘go’ soon.
Maggie and Molly have returned from their excursion to Victoria.
Yesterday: It was mid-afternoon and I decided to prepare dinner.
Plumber: The plumber has installed the new drain pipes in the ditches in the slab. The electrician has installed a conduit into the ditch going to the kitchen island. Ditches back-filled. The vapour barrier has been patched. The inspector has given us a ‘thumbs up’ to concrete over. This last bit is scheduled for Wednesday (tomorrow). Then the plumber is back again.
Electrician: The house gets rewired to the road at the end of the month. This means BC Hydro gets involved, a new breaker box for upstairs unit and new connector bits. The end result is that each unit will have its own hydro. Super excited to have this happen.
I have been playing a lot of WarThunder as the intensity of play takes my mind of the ache in my knee. I removed it from my computer (again) as I need to be more productive.
