Summer weather has finally arrived. I have been out for a number of bike rides (on Molly’s mountain bike). Seems the knee is now meeting my minimum expectations (cycling and walking). Ache is modest so no need for any pain meds at all now. Nice!
Its now warm enough that I can resume some maintenance on Merva (paused in October as it got too cold for paint/varnish to dry). The water pump needs to be replaced anyway. So I have gutted (more-or-less) the boat.
Coding is still on Merva – well actually in the boathouse not on the boat. This will be the case until some maintenance on Merva is done – perhaps a month.
The Deerhorn is progressing. The plumbing was to be pressure tested yesterday. I presume it went ok. This means that the water upstairs/downstairs can be separated.
A new bedroom window has been installed. It meets egress code. It will get trimmed out later.
Contractor is to install NuHeat in bathroom – hopefully soon.
Now its time to ‘clean’ the site so the concrete guys can come in and pour a new floor.
