Got up about 2hrs earlier than expected this morning – bedroom was like a train station at 6:30am. I just rolled with it. Maggie and Seb took Mavis for the morning walk – quite surprised by that – nice! Maggie is packing stuff in the Jag for the trip to UVic. I think she has to reduce more. Meanwhile; Molly is ‘chomping at the bit’ to get into Maggie’s room. This is for a good reason as we are expecting a high school exchange student from Mexico to arrive today – that is a one night overlap.
Valerie, M&M, Seb and I all sat down for a breakfast this morning.
Molly and Valerie have their new phones. This is the last phone we buy for Molly. Valerie has the best Samsung phone because she wanted a good camera. I think this may be overkill for her but she will probably have it for a long time.
Packed up the Travel Trailer. We did not take it out (as we had hoped) but I did enjoy using it as a little office for awhile – particularly on the hotter days.
Some parts have started to arrive. I have booked it into the garage to do an assessment for maintenance and, hopefully, get a handle on the transmission fluid leak. Unfortunately; they can not get to it for almost 3 weeks and I do not want to drive the truck with that leak. So we hobble to Victoria with the Jag using the mini-spare. I guess a lot of that is just ferry travel anyway. I will have to keep the speed to max 80 as that is all those tires are rated for.
The new owner of Merva is driving up from WA to spend 2 days and 1 night with the boat. He will take extra kit back with him and leave the boat ready for heading to WA on the 19th’ish.
