We left Leeds this morning and headed for Liverpool – but via several interesting places.
We started by having lunch at the ‘Old Mill‘ in Otley. We then meandered our way around narrow country lanes passing through Askwith and Ilkley.
On a couple of occasions we found ourselves above everything with clear views. We stopped for tea (hot chocolate in my case) at The Cow And Calf. We then went for a walk-about at Calf Rocks.
We arrived in Liverpool just in time for some dinner – having driven most of the way via smaller routes. We went for Indian food with Matt and Jade. We treated as it was Matt’s birthday today. We will be at Matt and Jades for two nights.
